The Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) International marked a significant milestone in its global expansion with the official inauguration of PENSA France on Saturday, 18th April 2026. PENSA France was officially inaugurated on 18th April 2026 at a beautiful events centre in Argenteuil, just outside Paris. The historic gathering marked a significant step in the growth of PENSA International as the vision of PENSA was shared with members, leaders, and invited guests.
The inauguration featured the presentation of PENSA France’s plans, the introduction of the new coordinating team, and the unveiling of PENSA’s action plan for the year. A six-member team was inaugurated to lead and coordinate the work of PENSA across France.
Speaking on the strategic direction for the year, Elder Jesse James Owusu emphasised that the plan of PENSA France is to establish and grow PENSA as a dynamic national student movement across France. This will be achieved through structured events, campus implantation, leadership development, spiritual growth, and student empowerment.
The newly inaugurated team comprises Elder Jesse James Owusu as National PENSA Coordinator, Denzel Assim as Media Lead, Gwendolyn Boadu and Bridget Adou as Events Coordinator and Assistant, Mark Adu in charge of Campus Coordination, and Dcns Portia Attah in charge of Spiritual Edification. Elder Abiodun Ogunleke, in his role as the National Youth and PENSA Director of France, will oversee the work of PENSA in the nation.
All members of the team were in attendance, together with two pastors, including Ps Patrick Owusu, District Pastor of Paris.
The inauguration of PENSA France is a joyful milestone and a strong indication of the growing commitment to raise students and young people who will live for Christ, serve with excellence, and impact their campuses and communities across France.
