In March 2025, PENSA International and Pentecost Social Services (PENTSOS), in equal partnership, will join hands with IMAGHE World, a US-based medical NGO, and Lankenau Medical Center of Main Line Health, to launch a transformative Medical Missions Trip to Ghana.
Lankenau Medical Center, part of Main Line Health, has been a cornerstone of community health since 1860, offering compassionate patient care, leading-edge medical and surgical treatments, and specialized programs, all while being a recognized leader in medical education and research. This initiative, co-led by Dr. Obed Agyei and Elder David Antwi of COP USA, will provide life-changing medical care to underserved communities while sharing the love and hope found in Christ. Over 32 surgeons and healthcare professionals from Lankenau Medical Center, alongside 20-30 medical volunteers from IMAGHE World, will unite with the team from PENTSOS and PENSA Ghana to deliver both surgical and non-surgical services.
This mission is part of the PENSA International Global Professional Exchange Program, fostering sustainable health development through global partnerships, and is fully supported by PENTSOS, the social services arm of The Church of Pentecost (COP).
The outreach will focus on two strategic locations: Madina Pentecost Hospital (Greater Accra Region) and Kpassa Pentecost Hospital (Oti Region). In addition to the medical services, PENSA Ghana will lead a parallel evangelistic campaign, making this not just a mission of healing bodies but also of saving souls.
EVANGELISM & HEALTH—A HOLISTIC APPROACH:
This mission goes beyond just providing medical care. With PENSA Ghana spearheading a dynamic evangelistic outreach, the mission aims to address both the physical and spiritual needs of the people. As the medical teams heal the sick, PENSA Ghana’s evangelists will be proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ, offering hope and salvation. This collaboration ensures that each person who receives physical healing will also be given the opportunity to encounter the life-changing power of the Gospel.
