PENSA International Togo Missions Commences After A Powerful Preparatory Session

Participants of the PENSA International Togo Missions Trip reported on Sunday 20 October, 2019 at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoah Fetteh to begin preparations for the missions activity in Togo.

On the first day of the preparations, Eld. Dr. Patrick Adonoo gave the theme for the whole preparatory process as “the Person, the Process and the Product”. He further briefed the team on the purpose of their gathering.

The first session was led by Ps. Emmanuel Adjei Kwafo, who spoke on Practical Evangelism, the Gospel and Apologetics (Matt. 28:16)” He stated that one cannot disciple if he/she is not a disciple and added that evangelism does not end at wining souls but making disciples.

Kwadjo Obeng also spoke on the topic “Interpersonal Relationship and Conflict handling on the Missions field (Psalm 133, Rom. 12:18)” He stated that conflicts occur because of difference in experience, expectation and temperaments. He added that effective conflict resolution takes effect in an atmosphere of love and trust.
Eld. Dr. Patrick Adonoo then spoke on the topic “Dealing with the Self – the man upon which God’s Church is Built (Matt. 16:13-20)”.He stated that the era of personal relationship is over to an era of personal revelation were we know God for ourselves.

The team had an all-night session with a seven member team from the PTS Pastor/Overseers, which included Ps/Ovrs Robert Fobi, Osei Tutu, M.D. Nana Sei, Okyere Darko and the main speaker Ps./Ovr. Daniel Agyabeng who spoke on the topic: “The power of the Holy Spirit, His infilling and His Giftings (Act 1:8, 1Cor. 12)”. He mentioned that when man has an encounter with the Holy Spirit, supernatural is released. The team had a precise prophecy about the missions’ trip during the course of the service.

On the third day, Ps. Benjamin Offei Badu spoke on the topic: “Spiritual Welfare (Eph. 6:10, Matt. 12:29, Mark 3:27)”. Speaking, he said we are Soldiers by birth not by recruitment. He added that anytime there is an opportunity to fight a battle, it is an opportunity for victory.

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”6″ display=”basic_thumbnail” thumbnail_crop=”0″]Ps. Eric Mensah also spoke on “Missions and culture (Matt 28:18-19, Rev. 7:9-10)” he gave the team information about Togo and their culture, and the nature of the Church of Pentecost in Togo.
Ps. Benedict Eghan was the third speaker, and he spoke on the topic “how to effectively make Disciples in a short term and Strategies for soul winning (Matt. 28:18-20, Act 20:19-25)”. Speaking, he mentioned that one way of effectively disciplining a soul is by prayer, prayer before, prayer during and prayer after. He also advised the team to get an interim discipleship framework

Finally, Aps. Nana Yaw Adjei led the team in a prayer season after he commissioned the team to go and win souls and make disciples.
