God Has You In Mind

God has you in mind

When we are truly saved, knowing it is by God’s beautiful grace alone and nothing we can earn, how freeing! Even when we fall, He’s there to pick us up and guide us.

We should walk in His steps or alongside of Him. It’s when we run ahead, thinking we know the way, that we get messed up.

God’s timing is not our own and the steps of the righteous man is ordered by the Lord.

There’s where the frustration comes for those of us trapped in earthly bodies. So, we need to hide His word in our hearts- for what now? What does it do?

Psalm 119: 105 “it’s a lamp unto our feet and a light into our path.” Little steps. Narrow pathway. And that’s a good thing.

I have not always known where my life was heading to; there were dark times; there were moments of anxiety and there were times I really doubted God and His ways.

But God was in to prove me wrong and He was faithful even when I was unfaithful. I found out that God knew me better and that He wanted the best for me.

The Christian journey isn’t always a pleasant journey and for most of the times, we have to keep on reminding ourselves of His promises because it seems like weariness is inevitable when it comes to our walk with God.

For most part of our stay on this earth we would all have to constantly go back to see what His word says about our situations and firmly grasp on to what we behold there;

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: (Hebrews 6:18).

I couldn’t better agree with the Psalmist in Psalm 18:30;

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

When the picture became clearer and started making sense, I could just look up to God; and as shy as I had become I could just feel His love and His lovely smile assuring me of the wonderful future He has install for me and not only for me but for all who believe in the name of His Son Jesus.

So why didn’t God tell me all this while; I’ve got the answer; He was protecting me from information which I couldn’t handle at that time; so it was for my good.

I rejoice now, on the other side of it all. Blessings great and small are abundant; we only have to open our eyes to see. Is life easy? I don’t know, Is Life Difficult? I don’t think I would like to answer that.

But one thing I can assure you; I may not have seen a lot in life; I may not have many experiences in life; but I speak of the things which I have made touching the king;

For wherever you are in life; whatever season you find yourself in; it is God who has brought you thus far, so thank Him.

In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

One thing I have come to understand in life and with God is that

rushing God would lead you walking through doors that He never wanted you to go through. Trusting Him will have you at peace knowing that you are His and that you are still favored before you receive any blessings.

All things may not be good; but it is certain that for us who trust in the Lord; all things will work for our good because we love Him and trust His ways.

I don’t credit the devil for anything that happens in my life, neither do I debt it to God’s account for anything He allows in my life because the child of God is under God’s covering and if truly our lives are hid with Christ in God, then God always has us in mind.
