The PENSA international team, soldiers of the cross on the 25th of September, 2021 commenced a retreat towards the mission trip to Sierra Leone at the Pentecost Convention Centre(PCC). The retreat brought most fathers of COP as speakers to teach, guide, encourage, empower, and admonish them with the word of God and notably among them was the International Missions Director (IMD) Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe who came in the company of his wife on the last day of their retreat at PCC.
Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe is the international missions director for the Church of Pentecost and is responsible for the church’s external mission work. The soldiers were pleased and blessed to have him in their midst. It was such a joyful moment in the presence of God as he shared the word of God and joined them in praises and danced to the Glory of God.
He encouraged them with an opening scripture from Revelation 21:5 ‘He who was seated on the throne said “I am making everything new”. Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true”.
Apostle Bekoe “The word of the lord is true and will never fail us, mark this day down, you will see the Lord at work in your life’s as you embark on this worthy course for the Lord and will never forsake you nor let you down.”
The IMD encouraged the soldiers and shared his life experience as a missionary to them, the challenges he went through and how the Lord has blessed him and every good word of his has come to pass in his life. He also used the scripture 1 Peter 3:13, Romans 12:2, and Psalm 48:14.
COMMISSIONING
Apostle Emmanuel Bekoe after sharing the word commanded the soldier to be on their feet as he officially commissions them for the task ahead. The IMD, therefore, commissioned them to go in the power of the Holy Spirit. Asking the missionaries to respond “Yes sir” to the charge of of the lord.

We will fight for the kingdom! Yes Sir Sir
We will win for the kingdom! Yes Sir Sir
And glory will come to the kingdom! Yes Sir Sir
We will not look back! ! Yes Sir Sir

We will not be sick! Yes Sir Sir
We will not be down! Yes Sir Sir
We will be ready when the master calls! Yes Sir Sir
The time is now! Yes Sir Sir

In the name of Jesus and as an ordained Apostle of God, I commission you in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost and you have been deployed from now with the Holy Ghost as your captain, he will move with you and you will return with the glory of God. I commission you today not to be interested in trophies but to look to the crown that will be given us one day in the name of God the Father and of the son and if the Holy Ghost.
